About Us

Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara was started in the year 1999 by our beloved Chairman, Prof. M. S. Jagtap. It is located in a sprawling 10 acres campus at the foot of the pictures que hill. The campus surrounding environment is lush green, healthy and studious. It is about 5 kms from NH-4 (Mumbai - Bangalore).

Today the college is recognised as one of the centres of academic excellence in the country. Over the years, there has been dynamic progress at SCOP in all academic and research activities, and a parallel improvement in facilities and infrastructure, to keep it on par with the best college in the country.The ideas on which the college is built evolve and change with national aspirations and trends world wide. Consciously developed, the campus has retained and increased its green cover, rich in natural flora and fauna. The peaceful atmosphere of the campus belies the full range of activities going on, that complements academic life.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO I: To develop ability among students to understand concept of Pharmacy with adequate hands on training and to give exposure to new technologies and emerging trends in Pharmacy.

PEO II: To provide an environment that makes students to identify, plan and design the problem, analyze it and provide solution.

PEO III: To inculcate in students the professionalism, optimism, effective communication skills, leadership qualities and qualities of Life - long learner.

PEO IV: To provide an environment to make the students ethically and socially obliged, competent to undertake responsibilities of healthcare system.
